The Embedded Software and Real-Time Engineering Area comprise expertise in the development of embedded software, particularly when real-time and/or safety and dependability issues are concerned. This engineering area targets markets such as avionics, space, defence, automotive and health-care, holding knowledge in business specific standards such as DO-178B, ECSS, Galileo SW Standard, EN50128, EC61508 and MISRA.
Embedded-Software and Real-Time Engineering Area has vast experience also in real-time operative systems providing maintenance and support for third-parties open-source RTOS such as RTEMS and for own developed xLuna OS.
