Critical Software’s growth has been continuous and sustained over the years and the company has managed to keep on boosting its profitability ratios. When compared to the year before, 2007’s figures show an increase of 60% in turnover.
With an annual turnover around 13.7 million €, 70% of which were foreign market based, Critical went beyond its business goals established for the year. The Operating Cash Flow (EBITDA) reached 2.4 million € in the same period, while results before taxes increased by 65%, getting to 1.8 M€.
Critical currently employs around 250 engineers scattered by the different development centres in Coimbra, Lisbon and Porto, subsidiaries in the UK and Romania and an office in the US. Its performance over the years places it for the forth time in a row in the Top 500 ranking for faster growth companies and stronger capacity to create jobs - sponsored by Business Week.
For 2008, Critical is optimistic in maintaining a good growth capacity.
