Description:
Critical Software, a highly-specialized Software Engineering company with a strong presence in the international markets and high growth profile, looks for a Business Intelligence Engineer to be responsible for mission and safety-critical software development activities. The collaborator is to be integrated in a highly-qualified and motivated project team working in Business Intelligence / Database domain in the Critical Software engineering team in United Kingdom or in Lisbon.
The candidate must be able to work independently, be fluent in English language and be autonomous.

Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence solutions analysis, design and development:
ETL and cube building
database analysis and development
development of reporting solutions
application/database testing
interacting with representatives of functional areas and of partners (requirements elicitation and specification)
communicate effectively the proposed solution to the Business representatives

Qualifications and Experience:

Must be proactive and have excellent communication skills (Portuguese and English)
Must have Business Intelligence skills
Must have Data Warehousing - ETL and Data Cubes
Must have Proficiency in Cognos or Business Objects
Must have a vast knowledge of Oracle databases and query language SQL/PLSQL
Desirable to be familiar with DOORS.
Desirable to be familiar with modelling languages and tools such as UML, Enterprise Architect.
