Description:
Critical Software, a highly-specialized Software Engineering company with a strong presence in the international market and high growth profile, looks for an IT Manager for its internal information systems. The selected candidate will integrate a highly-qualified and motivated team working in a really dynamic and demanding environment. Besides its technical expertise the candidate must also have an unquestionable manager profile, customer orientation and be fluent in English.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will manage an area that includes the systems and infrastructures area and the overall management of the company’s internal information systems. He/She will lead a direct team of 5 people and coordinate several internal IT projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

• An University Degree in relevant area in Engineering (Software and/or Networks/Communications) associated with a strong technical record: minimum of 3 years of experience in similar position.
• Proven knowledge and experience in technologies widely used in the company (namely OS Windows/Linux; TCP/IP (WAN/LAN); VoIP; Systems related programming – PHP/JAVA/…; SQL/MySQL DB)
• Good oral and written communication skills, both in Portuguese and in English.
• Solid team management and organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment and prioritize accordingly.
• Strong interpersonal skills: the ability to work productively both independently and in a team environment, including to manage outsource relationships.
• Flexible work attitude and ability to meet unexpected demands.
• Availability to travel.
