Critical Software announces the signing of an agreement with the Chinese space agency (CASC) which represents a privileged channel for the integration of systems developed by the Portuguese tech company in companies active in the aerospace industry in China. At the same time, Critical Software becomes the preferred partner of that organization in the areas of Verification and Validation of critical systems.
Under this agreement, CASC will identify opportunities that promote the adoption of technology and software tools developed by Critical Software, both in the aerospace market and the in any sector where high integrity is a requirement. CASC will also be Critical’s privileged partner for the integration and deployment of IV&V solutions (Independent Verification and Validation) in China.
With this agreement, Critical Software ensures maintenance and support for the Chinese space programme, developing technology, software and services, whereas CASC provides the engineering teams and presents new business opportunities.
This partnership follows an agreement for the integration of csXception at the Chinese space agency, a fault injection software to test its critical systems, already adopted by NASA, by the European Space Agency (ESA) and by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
“The know-how acquired throughout the years by Critical Softwarein the development and deployment of solutions for Verification and Validation of critical systems with the world's most important space agencies, now allows us to support the whole supply chain of companies in the aerospace industry. This agreement is particularly relevant because it represents an opportunity to boost new business with the aerospace industry in China, which has increased at an impressive rate throughout the last decade and presents a potential for technological growth which is extremely captivating for Critical,” says Marco Costa, CEO at Critical Software.
