Gonçalo Quadros, Critical Software's CEO, will be speaking on the subject of success stories and future challenges at the ESF Forward Look conference on "Mathematics and the Industry". This conference is an official event of the Spanish Presidency of EU, and as such, will be focused on bringing mathematics to the attention of European decision makers. This consensus conference will also serve for the work groups ("Training and careers", "Interfaces between Mathematics and Industry", and "Opportunities and Challenges") of the "Forward Look Project" to present their reports.

The conference is scheduled to be held in Madrid on the 26th and 27th of April, 2010.
