Critical Software sponsors SEPG Europe 2010

1 Jul 2010

Critical Software is proud sponsor of the 2010 edition of Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) premier conference in Europe - SEPG Europe 2010 being held at Porto, Portugal. The SEPG Europe Conference is an event that focuses on performance improvement through process capability. As the flagship conference for process professionals, SEPG Europe is an annual gathering where the European process community comes together to learn, network, and build their skills in process improvement as a means to achieving superior performance.

A key aspect for Critical Software's participation at SEPG Europe 2010 is the achievement of the CMMI Staged Level 5 Certification (Capability Maturity Model Integration). Critical Software has become the first Portuguese company to achieve Level 5 in CMMI and, by applying CMMI at Level 5, the company aims to strongly augment its productivity and quality of work, through significant optimizations of the processes associated with software engineering and so attaining a much greater ability to plan, predict and mitigate risks related to software development.

"With the CMMI Stated Level 5 model, and by applying six-sigma techniques, Critical Software is working towards delivering software that is 99.9997% bug free and with a shortened development lifecycle. The same model and techniques are used to improve the precision and consistency of our predictions in the development of solutions. This is all our clients want to hear: effectiveness, efficiency and planning!" underlines Gonçalo Quadros, CEO of Critical Software.   Critical Software is also exhibiting at the SEPG Europe conference.
