Critical Software remains the only CMMI5 Portuguese company, and one of only 17 in Europe
7 Feb 2012
Critical Software remains the only company in Portugal to hold level 5 (highest) CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) certification, an organizational model linked to best practices in process improvement.
This certification, awarded by SEI (Software Engineering Institute) of the Carnegie Mellon University, shows an organization’s process improvement maturity and optimization. Out of more than 600 companies assessed in Europe last year, less than 3% (17) achieved the highest level standards (CMMI5), and only 6% in the world.
According to José Gonçalo Silva, Quality Manager at Critical Software, «maintaining the maximum level in CMMI, something unique in Portugal and not frequent in Europe, shows the commitment of our company towards best practices. We consistently ensure process optimization in the projects developed for our clients, anywhere in the world.»
