“This was a particularly important year in terms of growth and our figures of 2007 show just that, especially because these results are the direct consequence of the relations’ building up with the most demanding customers in markets with high entry barriers.
Our strategy is to strengthen our position in markets which typically best value good engineering solutions. We don’t want to compete with the low cost software industry that is installed in emerging markets. Instead, we want to be a reference in the high added value software engineering industry. Thus, we must be especially aggressive in the development of dual-use technology. Solutions developed for the most engineering requirements demanding and richest, but also solutions that will create opportunities for other markets in need of technology, with public means, which in theory don’t have the same investment capacity as the others.
Critical Software has been developing its solutions with the purpose of addressing two main business areas: the ‘Safety Critical Systems’ intended to suit the markets which gave birth to the company and are deeply attached to our DNA (Aeronautics, Space, Defence and Homeland Security) and the ‘Enterprise Critical Solutions’ aimed at markets such as Finance & Insurance, Energy & Utilities, Telecom & Media and Manufacturing.
This year, we took one more important step in the right direction and for that we are very pleased. We are an extremely well prepared engineering team and had the opportunity to demonstrate it in 2007. We want to continue to show this to our most demanding customers in 2008”
