Critical Software presents CRITICAL STEP results in the International Astronautical Congress

11 Sep 2012

Critical Software – a company specialized in the delivery of reliable solutions, services and technologies for critical information systems – will be present in the 63rd International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2012), one of the world’s most prestigious events dedicated to the space industry, that this year will be held from the 1st to the 5th October in Naples, Italy.

Critical Software will be present at IAC 2012 and demonstrate in the exhibition area (booth 18) their market solutions related with Space and CRITICAL STEP project results. The European project "Critical Software Technology for an Evolutionary Partnership" (CRITICAL STEP) is an action Industry-Academia (Marie-Curie) carried out in order to establish a working basis and long-term strategic research with the partners involved, in the field of software for Safety-Critical systems (SCSS) using Off-The-Shelf (OTS) software components for the control of complex distributed infrastructure systems such as air traffic control, or complex industrial systems. Through this common action, the partners develop long-term strategic basis to share know-how and synergies, ensuring greater market competitiveness and promoting the development of new technological standards in sectors of high integrity.

This event is held jointly by the IAF (International Astronautical Federation), IAA (International Academy of Astronautics) and IISL (International Institute of Space Law). This year's conference theme is allusive to the "Space Science and Technology for All" and will be attended by more than 1700 scientists from more than 50 countries.
